Found in an underwater excavation off Riace, Italy, this sculpture of the Riace Warrior with Helmet was in the ocean for many years as part of a pair with the Riace Warrior with Headband. The original, made from lost wax bronze, is a stellar example of the sophisticated talents of Greek artists from the Early Classical / Transitional Period (ca. 460-450 BCE). Look at his striking contrapposto stance, refined musculature, and stylized locks. Our stunning reproduction celebrates the Greek's intense study of the human figure!

Made from white carrara bonded marble, on a black marble base, imported from Italy, and measures 15"H x 5"W x 4"L.
