The Burghers of Calais offered themselves as hostages to the English king Edward III in 1347 in exchange for the safety of their entire town. Now in the collection of the Chateau musee de Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, this fine reproduction is made from resin, bronze finish, 17.75"H x 8"W x 8"D. The Louvre Workshop is world renown for its high fidelity reproductions and superior molding techniques dating back to 1794. All the reproductions bear the RMN stamp, have a certificate of origin, and guarantee of quality. Special Order.
