In this sculpture, as the sun god Apollo reaches out to grasp his love, the fleeing Daphne, her body transforms into a tree. The transformation saves her from his endless pursuit. Made from bonded marble, black marble base, imported from Italy, 10.5"W x 5"D x 19"H.
