Honor this valiant Celtic warrior with a soft prayer as you mourn him slowly slipping away. He has fought bravely in the Gauls’ fifty-year war with the Greeks without armor and wearing only a Celtic torque around his neck. From the Capitoline Museum, Rome, this sculpture is a Roman copy after a Hellenistic bronze original of the 3rd century BC.
Made from plaster with an ochre wash, the Dying Gaul is suitable for interior use, and measures 14"H x 13"W x 30"L. Special order.
