The boy pharaoh King Tut ruled Egypt for a very short time but his legacy lives on. This Tut Sarcophagus Sculpture is adapted from the original found in the tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tutankhamen) (c. 1327 BCE) which was later moved to the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. His elaborate painted headdress in brilliant blue is only matched in beauty by the details of his multicolor cloak draped around his shoulders. It is from one of the most refined moments in Egyptian Art. Made from resin, polychrome and gold hand-painted details, 16"H x 4 1/2" L x 5 1/2" W.
