From a late 12th Century fragment tapestry now in Norway, The Months of the Year (Les Mois de l'Annee) tapestry is one of the oldest tapestries in the Western World. The month of April at left depicts springtime, while May at right is symbolized as the warring month by a horseman wearing a coat of chain mail. Imported from Europe, woven from wool, back is lined, ready to hang, comes with a hanging rod, 28"H x 49"W.
