The powerful bond between man and woman (c. 1907) is eloquently illustrated by the renowned 20th-century artist, Gustav Klimt, in his iconic painting of The Kiss. His paintings are large allegorical canvases which combine linear construction and rich colors often illustrating a world of beautiful women and nudes against a bejeweled background.
Now in the Osterreichische Galerie, Wien, the original painting is here adapted as a beautiful scarf made from 100% silk, golden background, black border, klimt signature at corner, 16"W x 64"L. The painting repeats once so that it appears once on the left and once on the right side of the neck when worn.
