Reviving the 17th-century English tradition of painting on enamel, this miniature teapot has a reproduction of a Paul Cezanne's still life painting from the late 19th century. Cezanne is recognized for his abstract painting style in which he built up form and shape with patches of color. His art greatly influenced the Cubists such as Picasso who viewed his work in a Paris retrospective at the beginning of the 20th-century.
For the past few years, these hightly collectible teapots have captured the hearts of collectors for their adorable hand painted and glazed details. They are signed as part of the Kelvin Chen collection of mini teapots. They pay tribute to masterpiece artists from the 19th and 20th century.
