Two prodigious minds of Western Civilization -- Homer and Aristotle Greek Busts (Set). Decorate your site of knowledge with these legendary forefathers as decorative bookend busts.
HOMER: As the author of the Odyssey--the first great piece of literature in the Western tradition--Homer is believed to have been a blind poet who put into writing a tradition of oral epic poetry about the Heroic Age in the Odyssey and the Iliad.
ARISTOTLE: The Greek philosopher Aristotle (384 - 322 BC) helped to transform Greek Presocratic philosophy into the foundations of Western Philosophy as we know it. He wrote books on many subjects, including physics, poetry, zoology, logic, rhetoric, government, and biology. As Plato's most famous pupil, he too imparted his provoking treatises and dialogues with his famous student, Alexander the Great. One often referenced theory relates to the Golden Mean.
