This sculpture of a Dancer by Antonio Canova was finished just months before he died. It was commissioned by an Englishman named Sir Simon Houghton Clark. It can now be found in the National Gallery of Canada.
Made from white Carrara bonded marble, imported from Italy, on a black marble base, and measures 27"H x 9"W x 6"L.
