This elegant portrait of Ramoses and Wife is from the tomb of Ramose in the necropolis of Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. They are presented here in this wall relief attending a banquet. Ramose holds a sacred bundle of the papyrus flowers. Ramoses was a high-ranking dignitary who bore the title of Governor of the Town and Vizier and lived in the time of Amenophis IV (Akhenaten) during the New Kingdom period (ca. 1349-1333 BCE). Made from stone and fiberglass, hand painted color details, ready to hang, 20"W x 16"H.
