Asian Temple Palace Bookends

Forbidden City, Bejing, China. The Imperial Palace was erected in 1406-1420 during the Ming Dynasty. Commissioned by the emperor Zhu Di, the forbidden city remains the largest and best preserved complex of ancient buildings existing in China. The rectangular shaped complex is 961 meters north to south and 753 meters from east to west, and there are 8,700 rooms. The rich finish is created from a combination of patinas which enhances the details of the bookends.

Made from resin, antiqued finish, 7"H x 5"W x 5"L each.
