Saber Tooth Cat Skull with Stand and Deluxe Museum Display Case
The Saber Tooth Cat (a.k.a. Smilodon californicus) has been extinct for about 12,000 years and is a widely recognized symbol of power and beauty. Living alongside the American Lion, one can only imagine the fierce competition for food between these two animals. This extinct skull (13"L x 8"W x 12"H) is an exact replica, and includes a solid oak display base for mounting in the attack position. The original is in the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles.
Made from compound stone with hand-painted Antique Finish details (as pictured) to replicate the most minute details. For extra pizzazz, this sculpture comes with an elegant museum display case (18"H x 18"W x 18"D).
Also available in a Tar Pit Finish (not pictured), which is a dark brown and looks like it was just pulled from a tar pit archeological site.
