For the navigator or history buff in your family, we offer the Fokker D-VII Military Airplane -- arguably the finest military fighter aircraft of WWI. Designed by Reinhold Platz, the German plane was simple to fly, steady in a high-speed dive and possessed excellent pilot visibility.
In August 1918, Fokker D. VII's flying war machine destroyed 565 Allied aircrafts. After World War I, the US brought 142 D-VIIs back to the United States and used them as flying Air Service trainers in the U.S. Army. Our model shows the German plane repurposed for use in the USA and decorated with red, white, and blue colors.
U.S. Army model with pedestal stand and plate description, made from wood and metal, full color, moving parts, exquisite details, 12.5"H x 17.75"W x 5"D.
