Edgar Degas' famous oil pastel Two Dancers on Stage (ca. 1874) is here reproduced as a full color fabric tote bag with matching coin purse. The French artist Degas is known for his pastels, paintings, and sculptures of ballerinas in the midst of practicing their dance form or performing on stage. He is often grouped with the French Impressionists because of his era, but is more appropriately described as a Realist -- that is an artist who studies his subject and portrays it without idealization. Degas' dancers are lifelike, not glorified.
Tote Bag (15"H x 18"W x 5"D) is made from fabric in full color with a zippered closure and generous shoulders straps. The Degas image appears on both sides. Matching zippered coin purse (5.5"W x 4"H x 1"D) is included.
