Islamic pendant was recreated from one of the oldest examples of Islamic jewelry. The main design consists of a realistic palm trunk that supports a stylized tree bearing half-palmettes and trefoils. In the center is a heart-shaped unit enclosing a pair of addorsed birds with half-palmette wings. The composition of the piece indicated that it belongs to the early Islamic Period.
