"Honest Abe" as he was called, was born (1809-1865) in a Kentucky log cabin and had very little formal education. As a young man, Abraham Lincoln moved to Illinois and was admitted to the Bar in 1836. He gained early recognition as a jury lawyer, an elected representative, and U.S. Senator. In 1860, Lincoln was elected 16th President of the United States (1861-65). In this role, he would preserve the Union during the American Civil War and abolish slavery. We are pleased to offer this handsome bust of Abraham Lincoln, one of our most famous American presidents and well known historic figures in world history.
This Abe Lincoln American President Bust is made from polystone, with a black base, and measures 11"H x 6.5"W x 5"D. It is available in either a white or bronze finish.
