Pair of Chinese Guardian Fu (Foo) Dogs for your home or garden. These mythical beasts, who resemble lions, are a ubiquitous symbol in Chinese lore. They traditionally protect humans from harm by warding off evil in front of a doorway or at the end of a walkway. Guardian Lions are sacred to Buddhism, where they are seen as guardians of the Teaching (Dharma) and their "Lion's Roar" symbolizes the voice of the Teachings of Buddha resounding in all directions.

Made from bonded marble and designer resin, antique stone finish, suitable for indoor or outdoor use, 18"H x 7"W x 11"D each, est. 20 lbs each.
