During a period of his life, the divine Krishna lived among the gopi (goat hearders) and cowherders of Vrindavan. There he met Radha. Ever since they were young, they were very fond of eachother - they played, they danced, they fought, wanted to be together forever, but the world pulled them apart. Krishna left for many years to do hard virtuous work and Radha waited patiently for him. Eventually, they were married to an audience of five hundred and sixty million people of Vraj and all the gods and goddesses of heaven. Their love symbolizes the loving interplay between God and the human soul. Or as a quest for union with the divine. Made from bronze, measures 7.75"H x 3.5"W x 2"L.
