As sure as the sun rises and sets, night and day will be partners for all eternity. The great artist Michelangelo designed and carved four elaborate works for the Medici Chapel in the Church of San Lorenzo, Florence, Italy. The Tomb of Lorenzo de' Medici was one of them. The major figure was Lorenzo de' Medici who was seated above. The other two figures were lying below. The female represented Morning (Dawn) and the man represented Evening (Dusk). Michelangelo did not finish the work after years of work due to that he left Florence for Rome in 1534.
The Medici Morning by Michelangelo Sculpture is made from cold cast resin, in a white finish, measures 8.25"H x 7"L x 3"W.
