Edgar Degas' famous oil pastel Two Dancers on Stage (ca. 1874) is here reproduced on a folding mini umbrella. He is often grouped with the French Impressionists because of his era, but is more appropriately described as a Realist -- that is an artist who studies his subject and portrays it without idealization. Degas' dancers are lifelike, not glorified.
