This Day of the Dead figurine (dia de los muertos) is dressed and ready for his wedding. He is wearing a black suit with a red bow tie and vest. He also has a red ribbon on his top hat and matching rose on his chest. This Mexican folk art adaptation is themed in the celebration of the Day of the Dead. The festival is thought to have been started by the Aztec society. It is currently celebrated every Nov.1st and 2nd in recognition of all Saints day and all Souls day.
